Just Got Home from the Chiropractor
I have been laying on the table at the office of a chiropractor in Petaluma, really not too happy about it and real nervous about the guy standing over me. I did all that I could to make sure that the risks were as low as they could be, but that required me to spend about a week doing research. It is not very easy at all. You really do not know the difference between the chiropractor that does what you want him to do and the one that is going to make things worse. I would assume that all of them are human and therefore they are all fallible. So they could make a mistake even if they are the greatest chiropractor that has ever lived. Still you do not want to be the unfortunate person that is there when it goes bad, and you want to be the guy who found the chiropractor that is least likely to make a mistake.
We had a really nice trip up into the mountains before it happened. I have a pick up truck and a little camper trailer. We did some fishing and some hiking, me and two of my best friends. We were on the way back when it happened. There were two of those little Japanese cars racing one another and one of them dart right in front of the car in front of me. The guy was probably fine if he had not overreacted, but he slammed on his brakes and stopped dead in the middle of the highway. The infuriating thing is that the insurance company and the police will likely decide that it was my fault. I suppose that the back problem was probably already there and this just made it a lot worse than it had been.
